M4 macro configuration and scripting package
Description: Autoconf shell scripts automatically configure software source code packages. These scripts can adapt packages to many kinds of UNIX-like systems without manual user intervention. The main configuration script is created from a template file that lists the operating system features that the package can use. It emits a Makefile.
