It uses a single source file to produce both a printed manual and online information. It comprises separate items of software including texinfo.tex, makeinfo, info, and texindex. Note that production of a manual requires that TeX be installed, whilst the production of online information requires that makeinfo + info or Emacs be installed. You require an ANSI C compiler if you are compiling this package from the source code.
