Gcolor is a colour selector, along the lines of gcolorsel or xcolorsel; whereas those just show the X standard colours, though, gcolor allows exploring the whole colour space, allowing pleasing foreground/background combinations to be found. A custom colour list is maintained in addition to the system-wide list.
