Dxpc is an X protocol compressor designed to improve the speed of X11 applications run over low-bandwidth links such as a V.34 PPP connection. It consists of Client Proxy that runs on the remote machine where X clients run, and a Server Proxy that runs on the local machine where the X server is running. The Client Proxy mimics an X server. |
