A Very Fast Simulated Reannealing (VFSR) to deal with the necessity of performing adaptive global optimization on multivariate nonlinear stochastic systems. ASA has been examined in the context of a review of methods of simulated annealing using annealing versus quenching (faster temperature schedules than permitted by basic heuristic proof of ergodicity).
