The U.S. Geological Survey holds many gigabytes of raw geographic data, mostly for the USA. Drawmap draws maps from these data files. It reads Digital Elevation Model, DEM, files and Digital Line Graph,DLG, files. Each of these covers a block, on the globe, one-degree square.
