Copy the file "cheque" to the destination directory, for example: /usr/local/bin

Change the read/write/execute permissions on the file to rwx for owner & r_x for users.

To import a Quicken QIF file.

     1. Cheque will only import basic information at this time. Create the QIF export file
to contain only the basic transaction information. Categories and splits will not be imported
into cheque. If you have multiple accounts, create a separate export file for each one.

     2. Import each QIF file using the "File/Import/QIF data" menu item. You may want to edit
the account information on each file imported. In additon, you will probably want to save the
imported data using the "File/SaveAs" menu the first time you save your work. That way you can
name your data file to something more appropriate than the QIF import hash.
