DESCRIPTION
    The xcmdmenu  program  allows  the  user  to  run  a  user-
    configured command panel on a workstation display running X.
    Each xcmdmenu is composed of buttons, each of which may  be
    configured  to  run  a  shell command using the Bourne shell
    sh(1).  Buttons without associated commands are merely  used
    as labels.

COMPILATION
    Assuming a good X installation at your site, simply:

        xmkmf ; make

    otherwise try:

        make -f Makefile.dst

    or perhaps

        make -f Makefile.dst Makefile ; make

    Output from make here at math.fu-berlin.de while compiling xcmdmenu.
    $ xmkmf ; make
    mv -f Makefile Makefile.bak
    imake -DUseInstalled -I/vol/X11R6/lib/X11/config
    gcc -fpcc-struct-return -c -O2 -I/vol/X11R6/include \
        -DXCMDMENU_CONFIG=\"/vol/X11R6/lib/X11/xcmdmenu.cfg\" xcmdmenu.c
    rm -f xcmdmenu
    gcc -fpcc-struct-return -o xcmdmenu -O2 -L/vol/X11R6/lib xcmdmenu.o \

CONFIGURATION
    Defaults to the file .xcmdmenu in the current directory, or secondly
    in the user's home directory.
