XGetit is a short X program which uses anonymous FTP to retrieve a file
specified by the primary X selection.  To use it, select a reference to
a file in the forms "host:path/file" or "path/file@host" then run
xgetit.  A window will appear giving you the status of the file 
transfer (click "Done" button to dismiss).

For example, this file is available via anonymous FTP from
   contrib/xgetit.tar.Z@export.lcs.mit.edu
which can also be written as
   export.lcs.mit.edu:contrib/xgetit.tar.Z
Under X, use the mouse to select the file reference, then run xgetit.
