The TextField Widget is designed to mimic the functionality of the Motif XmTextField widget. Most of the functionality of the XmTextField widget is available in TextField, as well as as most of the XmTextField* convenience functions. It is designed to be as compatible as possible with the Athena Text widget and shares many of its resources.
